(CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – September 24th, 2025) – Just as the 2025 stock car racing season on Prince Edward Island was coming to a close a couple of weekends ago, the first puzzle piece of Oyster Bed Speedway’s 2026 schedule was fitted and revealed.
Prince Edward Island’s premier auto racing facility recently announced that the Monster Madness & FMX World Tour is set to make a historic, groundbreaking visit to the race track on Saturday, June 27th, 2026, marking the first monster truck show in Oyster Bed Bridge in over a decade and a half.
In addition to the many stock car racing events that motorsports enthusiasts have come to enjoy and share on the Island since the track’s opening in 1985, and will continue to do so next year, fans will have the opportunity to experience a lifetime of a kind, not felt on the North Shore in a very long time.
Up to five of the trucks and stars of Eastern Canada’s largest monster truck tour will put on an action-packed show for the ages in the track’s infield on the afternoon of June 27th, with over 10,000 pounds of metal and machine soaring through the air and competing for championships across multiple different forms of competition, from wheelies and racing to freestyle action.
Not only that, but the FMX World Tour will join the Monster Madness superstars and leave fans and families amazed with death-defying stunts, high-flying tricks, and mind-shattering flips only the brave would dare to try. There will also be full-throttle, full-contact quad racing excitement and mayhem from the Xtreme Quad Wars.
The event is scheduled to start at 2:30pm, with a one-hour pit party from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, where fans with pit passes and/or VIP access will be permitted to meet the drivers, get up close to the monster trucks and FMX bikes, take pictures, and receive autographs.
