(OYSTER BED BRIDGE, PE – August 5th, 2019) – Braden Langille (Shubenacadie, NS) drove from the rear of the field after an early caution to win the Tim’s Corner Motorsports 50 presented by Island Coastal Services Saturday at Oyster Bed Speedway. Langille made the winning pass on Sam Rogers (Lower Onslow, NS) and pulled away in the waning laps to bring home his third Maritime League of Legends Tour victory at as many venues in 2019. Rogers held on to second with reigning Series champion Shelby Baker (Fall River, NS) racing to third ahead of Josh Langille (Coldbrook, NS). Gary Dunning (Charlottetown, PE) returned to the Series after fighting motor issues at the start of 2019 to finish fifth ahead of a hard charging Craig MacDonald (Waverley, NS).
Fleet Brake Atlantic Class Bonus winners for the Tim’s Corner Motorsports 50 presented by Island Coastal Services included Braden Langille (Pro), Rogers (Young Lion), Josh Langille (Semi-Pro) and Dunning (Masters). Danny Chisholm (Canning, NS) was the top rookie in the race. The 50-lap took 47 minutes to complete. Qualifying heat races were used to set the grid for the Tim’s Corner Motorsports 50 presented by Island Coastal Services and were won by Braden Langille and Adam Meehan (Rawdon, NS), who substituted in his sister Emily’s (Rawdon, NS) car after a concussion has sidelined the original driver of the No. 75.
